They have been upfront the while time that power could cause a problem, but since they had been out to run the lines tot house we had hoped it wouldn't be a problem to get it turned on. Now fingers crossed that it gets turned on this week!LuLuhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16322816597717957104noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5587799004056558667.post-44328702022854535362014-10-14T07:49:30.886-07:002014-10-14T07:49:30.886-07:00LuLu, that's looking great. We've been in the look through the window phase for a while now.
We are still waiting on our gas meter, but electric has been in. We're getting close to the finish line as well, so yes the to do list seems to be growing.
Can't wait for it to be all over and just move in.Frank Chttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13889715331906185334noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5587799004056558667.post-10751500120895658322014-10-14T07:30:32.791-07:002014-10-14T07:30:32.791-07:00Power, or the lack thereof. We were warned about ...Power, or the lack thereof. We were warned about the same thing! The last phase of homes on our street had an 8 week delay (yes, EIGHT WEEKS) in closing because the power company had failed to get their butts in gear. I know those poor people were beyond aggravated! They had finished homes and could not move in. My husband and I noticed these homes standing empty and complete for a while and questioned it. During my pre-drywall meeting my PM said that a delay could be a possibility in our closing because of this same issue. Our house is a new "hook-up" for the block (lots of utility "stuff" in our yard because we are "that lot"), so when ours gets it, then everyone else on the block, or row, gets it too. We asked about this yesterday and they said everything looked good as far as keeping our closing date. Fingers crossed for you!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03849948624738689599noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5587799004056558667.post-66373129026045143972014-10-14T06:24:00.317-07:002014-10-14T06:24:00.317-07:00Things are looking good! We got power pretty early (along with a few other houses on the same day) and our PM was REALLY excited about it. I think they caused him a ton of headache with the houses he built before ours. Hopefully they get there butts out there soon!

We have about 14392849032890 things to do before we move and we have been seriously slacking! It's going to be a busy two weeks!LaurLewhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17859351088653575241noreply@blogger.com
